Close game. Nationals gave the houston starter a wake up call that he is not invincible. Looking forward to tonights game. Let’s hope the train’s whistle blows loud and often.

Cole was VERY disappointing last night! I switched channels after 5th inning which I never do. I realize the stress and anxiety can get to the best of them but we should not have given that game away. Our defense was not themselves either. They rarely miss a catch. They all need a yoga class today. Verlander is seasoned in the playoffs and shouldn’t let the stress affect him. The Astros are the choice for winning the trophy but we shall see. I have learned that in baseball, never count your chickens before they have hatched.
