cheers for the replies guys.

the planted ones been going for about 9 months, recently the plant growth has been crazy, the larger swort type broadleaf plant at the back was 4 inches high 6 weeks ago!

the second one at the mo has two SA puffers which were rehomed by me, looking to rehouse soon though, tanks a bit too small for them. Not got any ideas what ill be putting in, any reccomendations?

What is the actual tank size? Pics can be deceiving...

the planted one is 120l 2.5foot by 1.5 by 1.5 (from memory!) and the other is 2ft by 15 by 12in.
