Today I finally moved my 100 litre tank from upstairs to downstairs. I'm in the process of setting up the three tanks I already have in my newly found space as our lodger has just moved out. Currently have set up the 100 litre and 30 litres. Have another 30 litre to set up and then will hopefully one day soon get round to finishing the stand for my new 400 litre (yippee!!)

Just thought I'd share some pics.. :)

100 litres.. please bare in mind this is only 4 hours after moving the tank from upstairs to downstairs and having to replant *everything*

30 litres.. with guppies and a female betta :)

This is what it looks like so far.. When complete my other 30 litre tank will be on the right hand side opposite the 30 litre on the left (cabinet extends a bit further to the right than the pic shows), so hopefully it'll be very pretty cuz we all like symmetry.. Don't we?

Comments/suggestions on any improvements/things I'm doing wrong/things I'm doing right are very much welcomed :)

wow , like the 1st tank, I think its perfect , the 2nd one , i would chnage the gravel for a natural look :good:

Nice Pics, Love the tank. One thing though, bettas and guppies=bad

It's much more natural in real life!!! It's actually brown rather than that flourescent red colour like in the pics, just my poor camera skills I think!

They don't seem to have a problem with each other. Isn't it ok seeing as it's a female betta? They don't really go near each other, the guppies hang out together and she just swims around showing off!

I wouldn't put a male in with them cuz I know they'd not get on, but these guys seem to :good:

Thanks to both of you though, I was worried I'd have thousands of posts saying how bad this is and how bad that is blah blah etc etc!!! :)

Yea you'd think it would be ok for a female but it really isnt because in some cases females can be more aggressive than males sometimes. Personally I would just watch them and if you start to see any kind of fighting I'd get the female her own tank.
