Firstly, I'm 12 and breed guppies, show class guppies infact, so that shows how easy it is.
Gourami and bettas are from the same family, and are a definite no no when put together [they will fight]
To breed the guppies, get a ratio of about 1 male to 3 females and after seeing that the females have squared off [the body drops down in a straight line down from the gills, across and back up as a vertical line infront of the anal fin] either put them in a breeding trap, then move the fry to the other tank [hospital] to let them grow up, or, leave th female in the hospital tank with lots of floating plants etc.. in there, then move her back into the main tank aftr she has finished giving birth. Feel free to pm me about anything to do with guppies
Also, with the java moss tied to the rock, raise the rock above the sand, so that the java moss will live and not die.
You could get some corys in with the betta [about 5 pygmy corys] and they might breed in there. But I will explain that later if you do get the corys. I'm currently in the middle of getting a rio 125 or 18 and am making my stocking around fish that I will breed [cockatoo cichlids, guppies, swordtails, corys, cherry shrimp etc..] so I know how great breeding is.
If you ever need me, feel free to e-mail or PM me.
Best Of Luck,
John.
