well it is cycling and the water is not crystal clear if veiwed from the side,
it is a 55 gallon tank, are your tanks like this too? i beleive that small tank will not notice the "cloudiness?"

or it could be not not well washed gravel

or is it my filter? it is a fluval 4+ and i dont think it is sufficient

Fluval 4 handles 1000lph, right? How many litres in 55g?
Divide by 4 (should filter 4 times per hour) and you know your answer

OK, so:
1000 lph can handle up to 250 litres in order to filter 4 times per hour.
250 litres =
Us Gallons: 66
UK Gallons: 55

So you are fine
