this little guy?....i have two of these they are cracking little fellas...very active and often swim mid water with my tiger barbs,they feed from the surface at feeding time too

Yep, that one! I have an unknown Garra species, which always zooms around the tank. After seeing this thread, I think it might be a Garra rufa or something very similar.

Not for us but for the fish, the bigger the better.

thats a cool looking garra you have there.

unfortunately the plants you have are terrestrials and will eventually die. if you want to try an easy plant try java fern this is fine with low light, fish dont like to eat and can be tied so that it roots to your wood

those plants have been in the tank for nearly a year now if anything they have grown a bit ,but thanks for the tip ref java fern
