My Tank

tell me what u think

whatever it is its cute lol in australia we only have cane toads who are awful buggers. they release a neuro toxin and one of them nearly killed my dog a couple of months ago. poor little girl had seizures for 14 hours :( we nearly lost her so i generally hate toads but he looks cute :)

lol i was told its a female.. :p

Nice tanks :good: Best bet is to get that ACF it's own 5-10 gallon tank as once it gets larger it WILL eat your fish... and LOL I though that was a yellow tang in thes econd pic too :p

:| sorry that's a disaster waiting to happen... get a 10 gallon tank for both the ACFs and put nothing else (unless you want it to be eaten in the future) with it... best bet...

yeah but i dont need one for now lool, as ill wait until it gets a bit bigger. also when i brought it was wid guppies and a simase fiter in the same tank so ner :p

It's a lovely little tank, but looking at your signature, it's a bit overstocked. The angels need a 29g minimum that's at least 18" high, and if those plecs are common plecs - you'll be looking at needing a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft for all three of them (or doing the wiser thing and returning them asap!). I'd return the angels and plecs, and stick with the others (although I do agree about the frog - they're not the best tank mates!).

For future reference, 9 times out of ten, you're better off listening to a carpet salesman than a fish shop employee ;) The majority (not all by a long shot - but the majority none the less) are only interested in making a sale. Anyone who sells three potentially 18" plecs to someone with an 84 litre tank though is obviously not a good starting point for information. Always research your fish before you buy them - then you wont end up having to take any back! :good:

yeah but they alll been fine i had them for around 3months

They might look fine to you, but they wont be, or if they are at the moment - not for much longer.

Honestly - those plecs and those angels need out asap for their own good. If they dont get the care they need, your next post might be in the emergency section, or sadly an RIP.

You asked for opinions, I shared mine - and others did too, but it seems, like some other members lately, you're not really that interested in caring for your fish.

If I cant appeal to your common sense (which I'm guessing you're lacking by the fact you bought another frog after being told they weren't suitable), let me appeal to your purse. The fish you're buying for your tank are probably going to get sick and die, if not from lack of tank space, from those god awful amphibians. You're throwing your money away.

But if after all that you still dont give a sh*t, I suggest you rehome the lot til you grow up enough to care for animals ;)

Edited to add - I see they're already dying :(

I agree with LisaLQ to some extent. You will have to rehome some fish if you really want a tank that thrives. The fish that need rehoming have already been listed sevral times. This tank won't do good, the angels will get agressive ending up most likely killing the bettas. 2 female bettas won't do good as they need to be in atleast trios to spread aggression the right way. Yes yes we've heard it before you say it agian "so far so good". What happens when that "so far so good" situation runs drys without any warning and you are stuck with some agressive fish due to bad stocking and fish that cannot co-exist with eachother? To late for following the advice of people with tons of knowledge ey? I know that it's hard to get rid of fish. You get attached to your pets and you don't want to let them go, but sometimes you have to face it like a man. Once it's over with it won't be as bad as you were anticipating.
