Ive been wanting a camera for ages! Since my lastone got stolen and I moved out not so long ago, i bought this tank and havent been able to take photos of it!
The problem is, when I use flash the water comes out yellow.
When I dont use flash, the movement causes the photo to blur.
ISO on 400 makes the pics "grainy" but less blurred on close ups.
These photos are either dark or blurry or grainy.
i just dont know how to take a good picture  lol
but hopefully it will give you a good idea of what my tank and fish look like.
:D :/ :-( :grr:

its not a completely tropical tank. temperature is slightly below tropical temps. more like high sub tropical temperature.
and the goldfish I bred myself. all the goldfish fry had to be put with guppy fry because they were un expected so basically all that goldfish's life has been tropical. as for the black moor, shes spent most of her life with the goldie (lots of fry too :D ) so yea, same applies with her.
which weather loach dya like? I have four lol 2 male 2 female

oh she's the big beasty female. she looks like a cigar and the others are just little lines compared to her.
im planning to breed but there's no imformation on breeding weather loaches.
i found one page about a guys daughter who had a big female and he bought some little other ones and a few years later there were eggs all over the tank. then a week later or something, there were little weather loaches swimming about in the tank they put the eggs in.
i want this to happen! lol :D if not, its still great to have the lovely things

I think to improve your tank alot, you need to use real plants, otherwise it looks good, I personally prefer a plain background, and don't feel your background goes with your tank (no offence). Very nice fish, but are you aware your clown loaches will outgrow the tank? (That's from a guess at the size from the photos), what size is it? Your borneo sucker is a really nice colour to, make sure you have plenty of turbulance for him in the water.
All in all, it's nice.

im wanting to sell the clown loaches anyway when they get a bigger. I didn't think they would out grow my tank though. Not wanting to let them get that big before i sell them.

the back ground: im wanting to get a plain blue one or maybe a black one. i havent chosen yet but yea, im not happy with this either.

Real plants: i have no patience with real plants at all! ive tried to keep them. i bought some lovely amazon swords after a week of cycling the tank and they went brown and died. i also had some other plants in there too. they also died. there is only one plant ive managed to grow which has flourished. an amazon sword in my guppy tank. elodia also but thats rubbishly boring.

Tank size: 40Gall i think. or somewhere around there. its 36" length x 15"back to front or depth x 15" tall.

The Hillstream loach: The filter has an outlet on it which allows me to mix oxygen with the water and then the filter squirts the water out. i put the filter closest to my back wall (or face the outlet at the wall) and this creates a flow over the fish, when they find it that is, which is highly oxidized too. im guessing this is pretty good for this fish.
