Hi I just got my fish two days ago and the tempreture outside was 40 degrees and so the tank went from
22 to 30 degrees in a matter of hours.

so fish are looking ill and dont wont to eat .

cause I tried ice in the tank and it just melts and the tank gets hot again

please need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try blowing a fan across the top of the tank, which will hlep cool it off. Leave off the lights and leave the room dark, it will help calm the stressed out fish. Also (this is assuming you have tropical fish), turn your heater on to 26 or 27 degreese, to keep the temperature from wild swings, so it won't drop down very quickly.
