My Tank (soon To Be Changed Around)

If you treat the whitespot with some sort of med it will most likely contain some sort of metal like copper and that will kill your shrimp....
Also one of your plants appears to be non aquatic even though it is sold as aquatic, the tall pale green one, second from the right....

   i have another tank set up here just finished its cycle ready for a dwarf puffer, guess they will have to live in there for the time being!

you sure? came from (what i thought was) a very reliable shop

The puffers might eat the shrimp also and when you put the fish in and the ammonia goes up it will harm the shrimp, they are very delicate and can die from ammonia, you lfs might be reliable its just that most meds used comtain things like copper...

A dwarf Puffer in a community tank is a bad idea. They/It will shred the fins of the Ram, Apisto and anything else it can. Also adding Dwarf Puffers to that tank will hardly effect the Ammonia level as they are tiny in comparison to the 40 gallon tank.

I agree with DarkEntity, the Puffers will cause havoc in your tank. They tend to wait until night time when the other fish have settled for the night and go on a rampage! I learnt after being told that DP's are great in a community tank. No problems at first and then noticed one morning that most of my fish had chunks taken out of their tails.

thers no puffer in there at the moment, thats why i said its just finished its cycle

riccia arrived yesterday and the co2 kit arrived today :hyper: :good:

Right well it never got moved around   but its still going good. Although i will be getting a rather nice 60x24x24 tank end of the month so thats all good :good:

one of the main reason for getting the tank is this "little" fella:
