My Tank So Far..

Hi Guys,

I have been on this forum since I started with my tank and have never posted a picture. So after I did my water change today and changed a few bits I thought I would post one.

I still need to add a background as the one I had I didn't like, think I may go for a plain black one.

I would really like your feedback on it and anything you guys think I could change/do different

Very nice tank!  Do you have both live and fake plants in there?  
 
i use black paper and tape it to the back of my tanks-it works really well and is super cheap!

Yeah it's fake and real plants at the moment. Trying to remove fake plants as I go. I did have more real but they just died :s I have now invested in ferts and may get one of those CO2 deodorant can like things.

That's brilliant I will go hunting for some!

Great tank for my back ground I used window tint usually used for cars not only does it bring the colours out of your fish it also blocks a bit of UV coming from the sunlight that hits my tank meaning less of an algae boom, also very cheap

Another great idea but my tank doesn't get any direct sunlight. I will also look into costs off it though

easiest way i found to background it is to just cut open a couple big bags and tape across back

Ahh yeah that could work, I just don't have a lot of space behind my tank to work with but will certainly give it a try

So I have been out today and invested in some new plants and finally have my Pearl Gouramis!!!!
