moving from a 13 gallon to a 125 gallon tank is quite a large step to take my friend...and as already stated, oscars grow to quite a large size and they DO need the space.
i admit they're lovely looking fish, but a 125 gallon tank with 2 oscars and a pleco can look a little boring. the problem with oscars is they need to really be with fish bigger than them...and they can sometimes act like geophagus and tear things (like plants) up lol
i think it'd be better to stay with smaller fish for now, and work your way up towards bigger fish.
you said that the molly tried stole the algae wafer from the plecostomus lol thats because mollies are good algae eaters.
you will be pushed and pushed to rehome your plecostomus, which in fairness is a good idea unless you genuinely intend to give it adequate space. bae1994 stated the pleco will grow to 2 feet...this isnt going to happen unless its in a huge pond with natural conditions. aquaria common pleco's rarely go past the 1.5 feet size.
personally, i'd go with my first bit of advice. there is plenty of potential in a 55 gallon tank.
its easier to fill up with decor and to make it look good. but its your tank(s)
