my only comment would be that your CAE and your Common Plec will outgrow your tank sooner rather than later and so should be moved.

other than that...looks good

steve

sorry being thick CAE? i know they will out grow but i have had them since they were babys and i have a bigger tank with some barbs and stuff in and will move him when he gets a little bigger

CAE = Chinese Algae Eater.

These guys can apparently reach 1ft in length.

glad to hear you have alternative accommodation waiting though :D .

Nice tank, but i especally like that pic of you glass catfish! Mine are horrors to takle photos of! :fun: So you must have been just lucky.... :shifty: :D JK

in the back of the wood there are loads of holes and bits and theres rocks and stuff near the back as well as a plant pot. anyway they sit on top of the wood most of the time. what do you suggest as a new hiding place?

what bottom feeder would you suggest for when i change my plec and CAE over to my larger tank

a school of 4 - 5 Corydora would be good  .

What size/capacity is your tank btw?

EDIT: Also just noticed the green and white central plant in your tank. This isn't actually a true aquatic plant (if you take this plant out of the water it will still stand firm and upright. Aquatic Plants don't do this. They depend on the water to spread themselves. One taken out of water they "collapse"). It will survive for a while but you will eventually notice that it starts to rot.

I am really sorry for this. I feel like I am picking holes in what is a lovely looking tank! Just things that I felt I should point out, as you asked :/ .

steve

looks good. your glass cat would probably like some friends. i assume you know they get pretty large as well.

ditto on the non-aquatic plant.

i love the pic of the glo-lites

They only get to about 4", right?

Nice tank, and besides those two fish that will outgrow the tank, it's awesome

is it a problem that is not totally aquatic (i had no idea  ) what would wou recomend as something tall and narrow is needed at the back otherwise it just looks bare

i think 4-5 corydoor is prob too much as the bio-load is about full and it will be pleco out and something equiverlent (bio-load wise) in so two small bottom feeders or 1 that doesnt grow as big as my pleco. dont worrie any fish that get too big will be moved into my bigger tank (29 litres)
