Cycling my tank at the moment - Cycling Log Here...

Anyways, here are a few pics.
Was just wondering whether you think I have too much in the tank??

The tank itself has 2 lights - one normal and one 'moonlight' bulb, which is supposed to mimic the colour of the moon. I tend to use the moonlight bulb in the evenings, since its pretty relaxing!

Pics of both lighting moods below!
Note - the blue bulb looks a little darker then it actually is in the pics....

Oh, also - now you know the rough size of the tank - advice on the types of fish I could keep and how many etc?
Thanks.

just out of interest how did you take the middle photo?

i have tried witht he flash, without the flash, on a tripod etc.

what settings did you have the camera on?

Camera was on normal auto settings, no tripod etc used - so just a normal shot TBH.
I still have a little of the Bacterial Bloom left over which is why you can see slight cloudyness in the top middle of the tank.

Ive just purchased a Canon PowerShot s95.
Its not the cheapest compact, but gives manual controls similar to a DSLR. For example, it has a lens control ring, and lots of manual settings etc.
The camera has a bigger sensor then most other compact cameras - which means it takes excellent low light shots. Hence, even though I took the above images in the evening with only a table lamp lighting the room, the flash still wasnt used at all - so its just a normal shot, all settings on auto.

Heres the camera.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBRBV3vPtNA

Looking very nice :good:

That's what I need advice on to be honest.
I would like a couple of bottom feeders, or fish that will stay low in the tank, and the rest to be swimming mid/high level, but I'm not sure what to go for. I'm limited due to the size of the tank etc, and I would like fish that stay reasonably small I guess.
I liked the Zebra and Leopard Danios I saw at my local fish store, but think these will also be too much for the tank?
Hence, I'm after suggestions on what would look nice in the tank?

I would be tempted to ditch the crappy ornament and put in a nice piece of bogwood with a Java Fern on it :> I wouldnt be looking to stock any more than 10 small fish, the above linked thread should give some good ideas. Uncertain what that substrate is you have, might not be very friendly for pygmy corys though. Enjoy!

To be honest, have it anyway that you like.

But i agree with above, ornaments seem a bit tacky to me, would have small piece of wood/rock for the middle if I was you

BTW i also agree with StewardSon, I cant ever get a good pic!
