looking at the wood, where would u say would be the best place to place it by

Where to place the wood or the moss?

Wood:...

I would have the wood in the corner with some rocks around the base.

Moss...

Along the top branch going to the right and then some along the bottom branch going towards the left. I would also add a bit to the others too, just break it up a little so it looks a little more natural and let it find its own way.

cheers for the advise minnnt, where would you say would be the best place to get some online, if you know any

There is usually someone selling some in the classifieds here mate tbh. If there isn't it won't be too long until someone is so just sit tight and keep an eye out. Other than that a decent lfs should have some in whether it be java (probably not the best choice for covering a branch) or christmas or weeping. Ebay usually has some one too. :)

I like it  but theres always room for improvement. I would suggest the wood placed @ the corner as well, left back corner, cuz of its shape...or just get a better piece of wood  I dont mind the gravel either, but if you want it to look more natural, u kinda have to change it.

well i can find plenty of java moss on ebay, like this

which would you say would be the best moss to go on it?

i think il go with the weeping moss, as the christams moss is from malaysia and would be a while posting, and dont fanncy having a dead one lol, so i think il order some rite now lol, mite actualy order 2 lots

The plants from Malaysia usually arive in great condition according to ecperience from other members. I have all 3 kinds in my tanks, the weeping is really starting to get the hang of what it's meant to do now  and the Christmas is perking up too. My Shrimps love it!!!!!

really? lol, id never of guessed that, id of thought somthing that could be in a sealed packet for up to 24 days would never of survived lol, but as u said, the experianced ones say diferent, but iv ordered 2 golf ball size ones of the weeping ones now, and i like the sound of them acting like the tree, droping down/hagging off the wood

hope so lol, soon as i get them and attatch them, il take some pics and put them up, so can see the before and after (if i dont kill them lol)

Just make sure you use plenty of cotton. And then catch any bits that float off so you can reuse them else where.
