I bought an amazon sword and an anubias plant. I saw 4 little small snails and 1 was already on the glass after about 30 seconds. There could be more. How do I get rid of them?

u can try assassin snails or u can weigh a lettuce leave dwn jus before lights out n take it out in the mornig for some reason the snails cling to it like flys on #106### lol

crush them while they are small and let the fish have them , its good fun if you are not squeamish

clown loach love snails, so if your set-up allows add a couple, though they do prefer to shoal :look:

Please do not buy fish to solve the problem.
A few snails are a good thing, & as long as you don't overfeed your fish, you shouldn't get a population explosion.
You could use a turkey baster to remove any you see, or use the lettuce trick

I had 7 of them, but now I don't know where some have disappeared. I find them useful, 2 of them are in my fry cage, eating whatever leftovers from the fry.
Their population seems to be in check for 2 months now, so I wouldn't worry about a few snails. In fact, I got more snails (2 apple snails) to clean up plant leftovers too, since the pest ones weren't enough for that.

Assassin snails are absolutely useless. I got 5 when I had a snail outbreak and I haven't seen them in weeks, dunno what happened to them. I still have pest snails though

Maybe the pest snails were too small for the assassin snails to put their trunks into them.
