My Tank 8 Months On

Hi guys,

Here are a few pics of my tank, it may look a little clowdy as I literally done a water change. All the plants are only a month old, as my other ones died!

It has taken me soo long to get the water crystal clear, however it was worth the wait! Its brilliant to wake up in the morning and see the fish without having to turn the lights on hehe

I currently have:

3 convicts
2 Kribensis
4 Firemouth
2 Cories
2 Cloan Loach
3 Rock Shrimp
8 Amano Shrimp

and the original Sailfin molly and platty - However these will be rehomed!

is that meant to be clown loach?
canu keep clowns and shrimps together?

No. Clowns will eat them.
That's a lot of Cichlids in a tank that size. Not experiencing any aggression problems yet?

The clown loaches haven't eaten a single shrimp, and the cichlids were all put in at the same time as babies so should hopefully have very little problems!

That is a beautiful set up. I wish I had your imagination with plants. I just don't know what to do with my display. Presentation isn't my strong point!!

you also have a german blue ram don't you? It certainly looks like it from the pictures...

I have a clown loach and shrimp also and they are just fine! maybe if he gets a taste for shrimp he might act differently.

The problems will come when they start breeding. Cichlids can get VERY nasty.
