Since I have put him in the tank I have thought that he is a nice looking fish and he always gets complimented by others because he never seems to hide. However, he has been chasing other fish and nipping them for a while now and it is becoming a problem when adding fish as they say "you can't put them in with a severum". He is nice looking and I would not like to give him away but he is becoming a real pain now. What do you think I should do?

lol I know many my sevy grow up with sword tail before I didn't notice they were small fish killer they were a 25cents size when they came home and there were like 8 of them and I put them together with 4sword tail in a bared 40g tank thing were all great until they get older and bigger they start chasing and eventurally kill all 4 of my swordtail. Just remember what ever fish you want to add to ur tank leave them inside the fish bag for a while to observe how the severum act toward that fish. If the fish didn't get kill on the first day they pretty much safe and been accepted as sevy's tanks mate. Just keep an eye on ur fish when u add them if they start bullying ur fish just move them some where else or return it to ur LFS.

Is this still the 30g tank ? In several of the other threads you made about this tank, people told you it was not large enough...and that the 50g upgrade you planned for the future could not possibly hold all the fish you said you were planning on putting in it.

If he's harassing your other fish I think your decisions been made for you - get him out now.

Should I get rid of it now then, before it get;'s too big?
No matter how many times you ask this question,no matter how many ways you rephrase this question...the answer is the same.People have answered you in several threads you've started about your sev...and you always seem to just leave the thread and start a new one.

Your tank is too small for the fish you have and the 50g you plan on buying is to small for the list of fish you plan to get.
