My Severum Ate A Giant Danio

somehow the danio got over/around the divider, and into the pair of severums area.. there originally were 2 that jumped the divider, and they looked fine, so I left them in there.. checked later on, and i counted.. 1 missin.. then i see a tiny bit of tail coming out of the smaller severums mouth.. darn thing ate a danio..

i tried to get it out, but couldnt.. guess i wont be putting the danios in with anything big.

Danios are very good jumpers - as I found when trying to protect my fry from the ones my ex bought...

I just put in a two inch severum with 5 full size giant danios. Im hoping they can grow up togather without eating each other...

Severum are carnivores, if it will fit inside its mouth it is food, in fact if it looks like it could fit in its mouth its food!

It barely fit.. length wise it didn't fit.. it's probably going to just spit it out which annoys me.. it will be dead by then.. it was the 3'' female that ate it.. the divider was a good 3'' high out of the water.. them danios are for sure good jumpers... I'll have to go check again and hopefully there wont be anymore eaten or on that side of the tank
