My Roma 240

cool tank, im a big fan of barbs id do something similar if i were to start again

That is a very nice tank. It made me think whether I should have gone for the Roma 240 instead of my current "ebay" AquaOne AR980. When I won the auction for £100, I had second thoughts. Then when it was all set up I was quite please. Now seeing your tank, I have a bit of regrets!

I also have barbs. 12 tiger barbs. The alpha male nip my arm when I was doing water change yesterday. Silly #28###! Cool fishes though. I have mine with 2 sajica (T-Bar) cichlid and 6 boesemani rainbows and 6 corys, as per my signature. I have real plants too.

Keep up the good work.

Adrian

Nice tank Keith.
Loads of great areas for the fish to swim and explore.
A rock background looks nice as well.
Changing it can be a pain. I had a bit more room than you and had to trim the top of the background in the end but well worth it.

Thanyou Barry, I looked at the juvel stone background but have read they can be a pig to clean.

Thanks for your comments Adrian.
You've done a smashing job on your tank, you should be proud of yourself :good: . For me its the odessa barbs that nip me when my arm has to go in the tank.

Sorry Keith, i meant like yours but with a rock photo.
Mine has rock photo on one side and underwater the other.

I have heard that as well.
If i can afford it in the future i will get a resin background as they can be slightly attached or just dropped in.

I do like the sound of the rock picture, will look out for it.

Thanks Barry, Keith.
