This took me about 3 hours to do last night, I think it looks better and my parents say it looks better as well.

What do you people think?

Be kind. :shifty:

Much better. The only bit that doesn't sit comfortably is the branch on the left hand side. It appears to be pushed up close to the glass, drawing attention to the confines of the tank. I tend to find aquascapes look much better when the layouts have space - which is what makes your new layout look better than the old, apart from that branch.

I see what you mean about the branch. And as it is, vertually plantless. But I reckon as it becomes more established, the branch will look really nice.
But even as it is, it is a vast improvement. Nice work :good:
You should post more images in this thread as and when you make changes.

Hi,

It looks better, very feng shui. I think your fish would appreciate some cover and hiding places though. Some taller plants or a cave maybe?

Also you might want to angle the power head outlet the other way up, so that the current agitates the water surface for better aeration.

Andy :)

Thanks for that, I'm off to turn it right now.

Also, thanks for the replies. I can see that a lot of people feel that I should add plants, but to be honest. I'm liking it being bare at the moment.

It's probably the nicest and cleanest it has been in ages, so I wont fix what isn't broken. But I can see what some of you are talking about with the plants.
