Just spent $5 and revamped the tank, bought a background and new gravel. I also picked up 6 Ghost shrimp for the tank, 3 of which have eggs  Tell me what you think.

Before:

After: (Amazing what $5 can do... lol, and some trimmings and such from my 25G)

You can see I have 2 forms of filtration, the bubbler one was for when they were much smaller, I have recently shut it off and moved to bigger filtration, but will be keeping both for future fry.

The corner is black sand, makes for an interesting "pond"

Very nice. I have recently set up something very similar for my baby mollies.
Will the shrimp be ok with newly born fry if you have any more?

BTT

I'm not entirely sure, I've heard mixed reports, but most people say that the shrimp wont bother even newly born fry. So far they haven't even cared about the platies one bit, nor have the platies bothered them. When/if I do have more fry I will keep an eye on them, I have a 25G I can move the shrimp into if they bother the fry. =)

I wouldn't expect them to bother each other once the fish are say 2-3 weeks and older.

An image just came into my head of the shrimps thinking that newly borns are food. Keep us updated if you find out? :good:

Will do. I love your fry tank BTW, I had to make mine from leftover parts and such, I'm even using an eclipse 6 filtration system mounted oddly to the top. lol When I get some money I'm planning on upgrading to a 15G L with a similar light setup to yours.
