My Reef Tank Revamp With Before And After Pics 14/7/09

before pics i wasnt keen on this

then i built this

now it looks like this it still needs more lr tho to cover the egg crate showing

its a bit murky as the sand was stirred up a lot

fish hiding in the shelf space (camera with flash so looks dark)

what do you think

looks like you did a good job with egg crate and some pipes - as you say, just needs a bit of filling and will look great - you certainly will not have problems with flow will you

How much lr you actually got in that 400 Bae? Will it be enough to be the only filter or do you have other plans?

about 25 kg

but i also have
huge uv external
a big external filter
a v2 400 skimmer
4 small ish powerheads
another smallish slitly bigger power head
and in the post two tunze 6100's and controller that i got for 35 pounds including postage
which i think is very cheap

its wierd i didnt see my engineer goby ffor months and then ocasionally id see it now touch wood it seems to be out alot

updated put a few small (6 inch) pieces og tonga lr in last night and its cleared abit

under the shelf
