My Red Platy

hi guys ,

over the last week my male red platy has gone a really dark red,where as my female is really bright red.

they have been mating recently,could this be why hes changed colour? or would it be water problems?

mine does'nt change colour with mating. Make sure your water is ok

Are they young? My orange ('marigold') platys have deepened in colour as they've grown - are yours still growing - perhaps he's just reaching maturity?
