Ok I have a green spotted puffer in a tank and is almost fully marine. Can I add live rock, and if I do do I need an air pump. I have a good enough filter. I was thinking of getting finer marine gravel or something like that, don't like sand. Any suggestions. I know I can't have corals or ananomes with her in the tank. Is there something I can put in there other than the live rock to make it look better.

yes you can add liverock to your tank but depending on your salinty it will or will not survive. If your tanks filter creates enough surface agitation you will not need a air pump. Well adding an air pump to any tank does very little for oxygenating.... air pumps in my opinion are decoration only. as for more living things i dont really know. As you already know snails, and all crustaceans are out of the question. Id say feather dusters but they might be eaten...

What about hardshelled mollusks? Will those live in the tank ok with a GSP? I'm planning to maybe try out some live "thorny" oysters in an oyster bed type enviornment. Not sure if the puffer will try to eat them or not. Maybe mussels? Scallops seem to be out with too many soft external appendages.
