My Poor Black Neon

i was adding a plant and then one of my black tetras jumped

.................

he took a very big fall on wood(my floor) and he got hurt badly

no bleeding but alot of skin was taken off........

hes pink basicly

........

im so sad

i dono if i should try to heal him or

stop his pain.........

Bless him does he look in pain, can he swim ok as he might of damaged his swim bladder.
How much skin has been removed, a med could sting him.

I would isolate him so he dosn't get picked on, i would just maybe add a tiny bit of melafix say a drop to his container.

i found them really hardy

once i hadnt reaized it but my heater turned off and they lived in water 23 c

its amazing that theyre all here now

i think ill put him out of his pain

they love blood worms thats what gets them good coloring

i allso feed ants
(not fire ants)

kitchen ants they love those

it started from one ant that fell into the tank and they loved it

so i tryed it lol

but the main foods are black and bood worms

the accual food is israeli made so you wont really have it anywhere else

but it cosists of
flackes tropical
little shrimp
dried worms
and all kinds of other things that i really dono what they are lol

its in a 7 day package that you spin (to give differnt foods differnt days)

i got my black neons 4 years ago
they are supposed to live 5 years max
i think water quallity and food is the main reason that they are still alive

i dont recommend you useing plasic plants they hurt neons sometimes very badly

bc the dart through them and they are sharp
