My pond

These are pictures of my pond in my backyard i keep goldfish and used to have koi but got eaten by who knows what (think hawk or another fish eating bird)

Thanks! we had around 20 to 30 goldfish at one time and then our pond guy had to take them all out to clean the tnak and about 10 or 15 died from the stress

is waas really cool because they started out as feeder goldfish abotu 1" long but now there around 2-4" long, we started out with 3 koi then 2 got eatn and only one was left and he/she had a blue eye which i always thougth was cool but then i saw a hawk swoop down and get it

Maybe get some of that netting that they use at driving ranges, the kind that is behind the golfers.

And put it above your pond (like up high so you can still walk under it)...so they can't come down and get them.

thanks for all the comments! i have actully been looking around for the net . but the goldfish spawned and i guess the remaining eggs hatched and the fry lived so we have a bout 25 goldfish now, i am currently thinking about putting in koi but im worryed that the hawk will get it.

Thanks its really hard to keep up thou, constantly getting leaves and then the water pplants multiply so quickly, but im jsut happy that i dont have to clean it out every few weeks !
