Sorry Tokis-Phoenix I don't have a test kit and only get to go to my lps every once in awhile. As for the white patches it isn't raised or fluffy it looks kinda like a coloration.

Wow, I don't understand. Someone posts a question they have that clearly states .25" instead of 25". I can however see how easy it is to pass up the decimal. What I don't get is how a person can continue to freak out after they have been shown they are wrong. Look, I'm not trying to start anything, but at least have some respect for the person asking a question. Just because they don't know everything doesn't mean you can't give them some credit. I actually laughed reading this topic because of how much of a fool some people have made of themselves. And it most certainly isn't the person with the question. Anyway, is someone going to actually help this person or just let the fish suffer if something is really wrong?

P.S. This does not include everyone, I can see that some people are actually trying to help.

very true they will also 'blend' to match their surroundings to some extent.

Stress also brings out lighter colourations.

I aint freaking out......my concern here is this plec, i will give him credit for how he cares for his bettas which is very well as for the plec it clearly shows a lack ov proper descriptions ov signs ov illness can in itself cause even more problems

Ive been here long enough to know that being aggressive with other posters will get you nowhere. If you want to carry on your tirade at me then feel free, im grown up enough to take it.
And no, having a post count bigger than yours doesnt make me better than you but it seems you dont like the same treatment back does it?
I think tying my neck in a knot might constrict my breathing but you have yet to wind yours in.

Erm excuse me here...all i wanted was a proper explination ov the symptoms and got a heap load ov sarcastic remarks from a 14 year old ! i dont think so...this forum is for keeping fish and help and advice not a boxing ring and a load ov insults.....I stand and take anything on the chin it dont worry me one little bit I stand highly above this wave length and just hope this plec gets its bigger home and its treatment ASAP ...if you cant afford fish keeping then dont do it !

Nope if everything is not correct you ask question to get it right...theres a huge different from .25" to 25"...makes giving good advice alot easier and quoting people isnt an attack or an insult to them its just making sure facts are all ok before you post your advice

This is completly off topic but...
If somethings wrong then yes its not correct. Imperial is fractional, Metric is decimal.
Examples
Imperial = 1 1/2"
Metric = 100.5mm
