Some more information would be very helpful. What size is the tank? how big is the plec? What other fish is he kept with? What are your water stats (ammonia, nitrite, ntirate, and nitrate?) How long have you had this tank set up for?
Is he getting pale all over, or is it just in spots? Does it look like something is on his skin where he is pale if it is just in spots?
