My Plec

Here is a pic of my new plec great isnt he. But can anyone tell me what type of plec he is?

Hi, from that angle he looks just like my Pleco who is either a Common or a Sailfin. I have never really found out for sure. Mine is 10 months old and is 12" They are great in every sense of the word!

what size was it when you got it?

Hi, I bought him last May and it was 2-3". It was sold to me as a Bristlenose! They offered to have it back. I responded to an American man's website because he was talking about Commons and told him about my Pleco, he didn't call me a liar but I know he didn't believe the size of my Pleco! I have called him Buster (tankbuster!). He truly is that big and he is also wide across the head. I had to get a 65ukgal tank for him. He eats well as you can imagine.

I bought my first plec yesterday he was labeld as a "gold plec" although he looks albino
hes currently about 2 inches long and being fosterd in my friends tank untill my tank has cycled

How long have you got to wait? And Mark, what size is your Pleco? Do you agree he might be a Common Or a Sailfin?
