My Platy has recently just kind of floating around my tank, and not doing much. My ammonia is at zero, my Ph between 7.6-7.8 and Nitrate, Alkalinity, and others all tested at Zero. I am kind of worried, usually, she shoots away from my finger when I move it near the glass, and she is just floating. It seems to only happen more near the evening/end of the day. Is she asleep?
Also, one of my two zebra danios is having stripes that suddenly faded. It literally looked fine yesterday, and now you have to look hard to see that there are stripes there at all. Please help.

Nitrate 0? An unusual result. They need a good shake sometimes.

How long has the tank been set up? Did you do anything different recently, or add anything?

The tank is a 5.5 gallon and there are 2 Zebra danios and a platy

what about nitrites? and yea, nitrate is rarely ever 0. Are you using a liquid test kit or test strips? Liquid test kits are much more accurate.
