I know, everyone wants fish pictures, but they move and my camera doesn't like that! :/

So, I thought I would put up pictures of all my plants. :D

Here is a picture of my Giant Amazon Sword. It's Huge! I had to cut runners off when I got it home from the LFS yesterday. :)

I also picked up a Giant Hygro. Took some time figuring out what this was. :/ LFS just new it grew submerged, he buys it from some local guy with a 240G. I want that guys tank! :)

I also picked up some Cabomba. Both red & green.

The red is in back. :)

I then got some Jungle Val for another back drop... It's not looking to good right now... I don't think it liked the trip home. :(

Then my little bunch of Microsword, but I need more...

I have some variegated acorus, but after research it's going to have to come out. It's not a true aquatic and will probably die if I don't take it out. :(

And finally, a plant that we have a few ideas on, but have not identified yet. :/ It doesn't look that good right now. This is the way I brought it home. :/

Now, all together. :)

Looking good. I wanted to give you a tip on the microsword. You can cut them into smaller plants and plant each one individually with tweezers. You space them out, and eventually they'll spread into a nice carpet. Otherwise, they'll send out (slow) runners which will make it difficult to get the look you're probably wanting.

Here's a link on planting glosso. You plant the microsword the same way as glosso. Look at this link:

Good luck on the lighting upgrade. Hopefully you're aiming for at least 2wpg. All of the plants that I shipped should grow well under that amount of light.

Well, I pulled the 2 x 15W from the bottom tank and put them up top. So, now I'm at 70W (about 1.2WPG). I'm looking at 4' CoraLife 2x65 Hoods which would get me about 2.3 WPG, but can't do that yet.. :/

Thanks for the info on the Micro Sword. :) I want a good carpet for fry to hide in. :)

Spyderdf - Thanks. :)

That looks like Variegated Acorus in your tank. Have you had it long? If it is and you have, is it doing good?

I'm not sure I want Java Moss. :/

But most of these plants, other than the amazon, are still small. They haven't grown into the tank yet. ;)

Great looking tank. I would turn off the bubbles though, it's only making it harder for your plants to take whatever CO2 in the water there might be. :kewlpics:

I don't mind suggestions at all. :) I always listen. ;)

konrad05 - thanks. As for the bubbles I have them running to make sure the Fish have enough 02. It's something I always thought was necessary, is this wrong? Maybe I should move the airstone or the plants?
