I did a large water change today because my tank is done cycleing. I trimmed my val back and bubbles grew at the end where I cliped it. I was amazed. I knew my plants were doing well but I got to see them make the bubble. I'm so proud my first planted tank is a happy growing one. All little research goes a long way.

Oh it feels so good to know you are doing things right.

not to put a downer on the situation but plants do tend to pearl after a water change due to being exposed to unlimited CO2, and the high oxygen content of the water meaning any more oxygen produced by the plants will form as a bubble as no more can be dissolved in the water.
thanks.

also, when you trim crypts and vallis, you will see a stream of bubbles comming from the fresh cut. It is like blood from a wound.

Yeah I was wondering in the Val was just like that. I figured it was because of a water change. It's all good they are still growing well lots of new growth they are filling in. That's really all that matters to me.
