My Giant Sword (those stems are as thick as your finger at the base...):

That is a huge sword! 8) Very nice 20gallon, any plans for when that sword gets "too big", as if it hasn't already?

Very soon, it is going into my 180 gallon with my motoro ray for some shade 8) .

The sword is a giant lol! Looks good like that, but its probably blocking light to the other plants, shame though.
Very nice tank over all wonderboy.

Thanks Luke_e.
I try to keep ferns and low-light crypts under it

Pulled from your profile:

20 gallon with young zig zag eel, one tire track eel, one clown loach, one queen loach, one sailfin pleco, and a lot of different types of plants including some crypts, java fern thriving on driftwood, and One enormous sword plant that just keeps growing (it's stems at the base of the plant are almost as thick as a aquarium heater!)

You've got one heck of an interesting fish stock for a planted tank

There's also a young black ghost knife in there... Reason being: I got these fish small, and am growing them bigger to be able to room with bigger fish in my 180 gallon***. :) Well, the clown loach, tire track, and knife at least (pleco obviously)...

I also have a planted 18 gallon where I keep 3 rummy noses, 4 silver kuhli loaches and 3 ottos.

***EDIT!!! I meant into my 80 gallon, not 180!

Sodding hell thats a huge sword! I want one! But guess in a 180g tank it wont look so big!

Tank looks good, what you going to replace the sword with, you'll lose quite a focal point once its gone.

Thanks!

I've been worrying about that myself...

I might try something new... for example: I have three 10 - 12 inch pieces of driftwood in there (if you couldn't tell), and I think I might try arranging some type of "structure" in place of the sword with those.... We'll see!

What type of sword is that?

Also, how large was it when you got it, and how long did it tanke to grow like that?

Its gorgeous! It is just what I am after for one particular corner of my 70 gallon...
