BGA isnt from not stocking enough plants, it can be due to poor circulation, low NO3 (<10ppm) NH3 spikes, dirty filters.

In my case it came in on plants that I foolishly didnt clean and just took hold grrr!

if you have good circulation and flow then the detrius will get pushed around and the algae wont be able to 'feed' of it therefore plants remaining algae free
