Thanks y'all. :) There's only 10 of them, and one of the will be adopted out because he/she has SBD (unless he/she grows out of it but I doubt it). So each of them are very precious. :wub:

Haha liz, actually they leave the snail alone for the most part. A couple times I saw one baby accidentally mistake his antenna for a brine shrimp piece, but no damage done, and they seem to know better now, lol.
 
Wow,i cant wait for my female,and to start breeding. But,ive got my breeding tank all prepared but i put gravel in it,d i need to take it out?

Yes, the spawn tank should be bare-bottomed. Eggs and/or young fry will fall in between the gravel where dad won't be able to reach them and die. Also, gravel harbors planaria, ugly white worm things (that adults eat which is why you don't usually see them in regular tanks), that will eat fry before they're free-swimming.
 
Thank you. :) SBD is swim bladder disorder, something wrong with their swim bladder which is what keeps their balance in the water.
