My One And Only Fish

Wow, long time no post, eh? Well due to a sudden frost the betta in my icon over there << died. Big tank + bad heater + 100 year old house with poor insulation= dead fishy. I've since moved twice and am now living back at home with just one pet, my VT betta Trapper who I've had for over a year now. I just thought I'd just share a little video of him, taken about just under a year ago when I was living in La Crosse.

I've taken out the plant and put some silk leaves and flowers. Before anyone asks, yes, the tank is plastic and yes, it's only one gallon. He is doing well and gets 1/2 water changes once weekly. I'd love to upgrade his living quarters, but I'm pretty much flat broke. I am living at home and my search for any job available has been really sucking. Once I have a stable job and a car that runs I plan on setting up a *few* new tanks.

ya know, you can often find good tanks cheap on Craigslist. i've seen lots, but have made up my mind that i'm gonna get my three a divided 10 gallon without a hood, but instead some mesh netting. strange, but simple and cheap.
