I love those fish!!!
I feel bad because my LFS's paradise fish are always unhealthy when I know they can look so much better.

Sorry to hear that. Only one LFS for you to go to? If you can, try somewhere else.

Oh man, I LOVE paradise gouramis (of course I do, they resemble bettas! )
When I buy my oscar a bigger tank, I may use my 29 gallon for gouramis

Ah, gotcha. That makes sense. We wouldn't want false statements passing off as facts. I was just sad that all that work had gone down the drain. Glad to see that it might still be alive.
