My New Tank

just setting up my new tank everything is done

but im just wondering should i change the water before i add chillids

tank has been running full since wednesday with the filter of my old aqauruim (fluval 305)

i shud already now but my 5 foot tank was started of with goldfish then i just moved up and up to discus
and i know chillids aint goldfish

any imput people!!!

You should do much more than that. Please read the link that tells you how to do a fishless cycle. You are at least a month away from any fish at all unless you can find a media donor to jump start your cycle.

If you're trying to say you've put your old filter, complete with bacteria, into your new tank ... this won't make a jot of idfferece unless the bacteria hace someting to feed off. With no fish in there, there bacteria from the old filter will have died off and you'll be starting from scratch again.
