My New Tank

This is my new (used) tank that I bought off someone tonight for £75. He claimed that it was 100 litres but I dont think he was telling the truth. I know that it is 2 foot. Has anyone got the same tank? did I pay too much? Also I am gonna get rid of the gravel and change it for sand, if you have any suggestions please post them here:http:

Is it a juwel? Could be the rekord 70, hard to tell from that picture, doesnt look like 100L though.

Yeah you could be right,was just on the exact website. Im actually pretty hacked off with the guy for lyin, still is it a good deal for £75?

£75 is a decent price then. Iv seen websites sell the tank alone for £80-£100, then with the stand anywhere from £120-£150. Even ebays cheapest is £120.

So yeah, if you look at those prices, and the tanks in good condition, £75 is definately a decent price

Im a fan of Juwel aquariums, just ordered a Rekord 80 myself. Whenever i see one i think top notch product, look nice and made well, plus the built in filter in the black box tidys everything up.

Cool mate u have put my mind at rest then, i will get picks up in a few weeks. So its a 70litre then, dunno what fish to keep.

Yeah, bit of a ***** he lied, or maybe he didnt know, but thats hard to believe.

With regards to stocking it, i have no clue, i recommend going to some LFS's and see what you like and then buy if your tanks capable of housing them.
