Hi guys. For the past few weeks I have been looking for advice and suggestions on what fish would go nicely in my new 50ltr Fishbox.

After cycling for ages, I added harlequins the previous week, and have just today added a White Widow and a Platy.

I just wanted to show you what my tank looks like (including the new fish) =)

PS - I'm planning to add a Betta on Saturday; that should be fine with the fish in the tank at the moment, shouldn't it?

Should be ok, But you should bumb up your numbers. Hariquins and white widows should be in groups of 6+. Other than that it looks great!

The betta will not be a problem for your other fish but the white widow may cause problems for the betta. A betta is a very slow moving peaceful fish by its nature and a white widow can be a bit too nippy for a fish like that.

thats a wonderfull ship in your tank where did you gt it ?

Pets at Home; its a local petstore.

Thanks for the reply. I was aware that the black widow did that; but the petshop owner said that both species are generally fine towards the Crowntail Bettas (as apparently they swim faster than their veiltail counterparts. If it causes problems I have a friend who ADORES the widows =P

Aye I was considering that like, but would they all fit in such a small tank?
