Hey everyone I just wanted to show you my new sailfin male that I picked up on a "special" for only $1.00 canadian!

He was in a display tank and the girl who was working did not know what to call him or even what an accurate price was! So i couldnt not get him for that price! But he is a great addition to my tank...I will post a picture of my female sailfin as soo as i can!

I was lucky resently too, i got 12 free babie sail fin mollys from my LFS, coz the girl didn't know what to do or how to look after them, i've lost five of them but seven of them are going strong and i can't wait to see them all grown up in a few months.

very nice...........our male black mollie is a sailfin & i love the way he scoots up to the females full tilt, slams on his brakes & sticks his fin up at full stretch trying to impress them. ( usually they carry on munching algae off plants looking distinctly bored with his performance!!!)

So you got him for a lucky price! I once bought 3 Ryukin Goldfish at Adult size for only $5 each! That was because the girl working also didn't know the price and the name of the fish! These fish would have been easily over $50! They need to find workers that acutaly know what they are selling. hehe. I feel kinda sorry for the girl because after that. I never saw her work there agian. (Ooppps)

But anyways, That is a beautiful molly you have there. I never really liked mollies but after looking at your pic, I want a pair.

hi totally off the topic of the thread but, i see you have the skeleton air decoration... do you find that it is always getting stuck in a position that lets air bubble out without moving the skeleton up/down... if so have you fixed this?
ps. our skeleton has had an arm amputated as we thought this was the problem
