hi people this is my elite 60l fishtank im setting up for cherry shrimp and possible fry tank here is a few pics off the set up so far there will be more pics tomorro of its filled up thanks.

so im filling the tank today with mature water from my dads tank so i should be ready to go soon lol im getting plants later so i will post pics of plants and water
 
thanks i got it filled today and i cnt take a pic cus its so cloudly with the sand in it lol the wood was 7pound but i love great bit of wood it has like two caves in it

Looks like a great start so far! One thing to consider though is the water from your dad's tank will not be enough to get the biological filter going. The bacteria live on hard surfaces like substrate, rocks, decorations, filter media, etc. Can you add any of these things to the tank? You have to be very careful with shrimp as they are extremely sensitive to ammonia/nitrite and need an established ecosystem to do well. That's not to say it can't be done, but it's chancy IMO.

thanks and i could get a bit of his white filter of him this water i got off him is from the gravel like loads of dirt in it cus he just changed to sand in his rio 240l and that was a challenge lol i will wait a while til i put the shrimp him
