LUK ITS A FUZBALL
So today, I was looking at my tank space area and decided: I need to get rid of one of these tanks. The biggest one was Alpha's, a 2.5 gallon oddly shaped and made of thick glass - definately something to be improved. I asked my mom and, the tank and Alpha being her favorite fish, she agreed to keep him in the living room. So I cleaned out his tank and replaced it with some natural-looking gravel and a pot for him to hide in as well as a fake palt. And a paper lid secured with tape, buut it's not permenant, just until I go to town tommorow and get some mesh.
And anyway, the money issue is solved as well. I'm hopefully going to get a pair off aquabid if I can't find a single halfmoon female. And besides, if I get a halfmoon pair and I don't like the male for breeding I can just use Ares. Anyway, I've decided to buy two 1-gallon tanks or so, and house one of the males (ares or the new one) in the 10 gallon breeding tank, and put the other two into the 1 gallons. Once they're finished breeding and the fry are free swimming, if I ever acheive that, I'm going to buy a 5 gallon, divide it, and a 2.5 for the other one.. depending on which male I use.
