My New Pal :)

Some of you might remember me because I was having trouble with my fish Flapjack's fin rot. Luckily, it seems to have cleared up! After establishing a cleaning regimen, the chemical levels (Amonia Nitrate Nitrite etc.) have all gone down to 0. We are still having trouble with PH but are slowly getting it to go down a little.

Anyhoo.. I got a new little buddy to stay with me in the dorm since Flapjack lives at my boyfriend's house. His name is Cody. I really do love this little guy so much! Right now he is in a 1.5gal with no filter until summer semester kicks off (about two weeks). No worries though.. I have kept a close watch on his water quality and he is as wiggly and as much of a pig as ever. He has so much character. Very active and responsive to people by the tank. He sits on my desk so I get to talk to him while I do schoolwork.

Wow the betta is lovely. I have never seen one like this before. I love the colour green and would pay alot of money for him. Would it be cheecky to ask where did you get him and how much for ?

He is really different and not one you see everyday in a fish shop

Hehe! I got him from a LFS around here that sells really well-cared for bettas for about $20. I couldn't resist my cute little Cody! They are located in Mountain View, California.

Haha actually Forest would have been a really good name for him! I can't remember the store name but it's in Mt. View, CA. Really nice place.
