Hi all,

after picking up a 5ft x 18 inches x 20 inches (water height) tank from someone the other weekend....it is now up and running.........(filter just moved over from our 55g corner tank which this has replaced).

Went looking for Oscars yesterday and today.......lots of phoning of lfs in the area........went and viewed a few.........wasn't impressed........went out again today......and found this guy.....

This should probably be in gallery.....but hey.....getting this "O" is a major milestone in my fishkeeping!..

Great looking oscar! Its so hard to find one with a great looking color pattern around me. The tank looks great to keep us updated. :good:

 nice oscar... my old oscar grew from about 2" to about 13" in 10 months so be prepared! :D also, what other tank mates do you have in with him??

It is a 93 gallon tank with:

1 baby Oscar
2 Silver Dollars (waiting for the shop to get some more in)
4 Clown Loaches (yes, I know how big they grow......but they grow slowly)
1 Synodontis Eupterus (Featherfin Squeaker Syno)

Hoping to add a small Severum to complete the tank...........

He really is a nice looking Oscar.

I would love one but just don't have a tank big enough to house one.
