So after almost 2 months of cycling and preparing, I have added a couple three spot gouramis to my 20G (us) tank.

They seem a little nervous about the tank. Just curious as to how long this could take - and overshoot it so I don't seem freaked if it lasts that long.

Also, I have some freeze dried blood worms and staple fish flake. Anything you would suggest feeding them to make them happy?

Some fish acclimate well and are comfortable right away. Others take a week or sometimes far more before they start acting naturally. Let me ask a couple questions...

1. What are the water parameters at the moment?
2. How long have the gourami been in the tank?
3. What are the sexes of the two fish?
4. What types of decor are in the tank?
5. How strong is the lighting?

I think it took my opaline gouramin about a week to settle in. My fish are freaks, but his favorite food is actually algae wafers. Go figure. He wil chase all the other fish away from them and have his own area.

Also, i don't recomend freeze dried blood worms. They are hard fairly hard for the fish to digenst. Go with frozen ones, much better. Also, try peas, that is always a hit here.
