My girls arrived bright and early this morning and have settled in really well. Both have been swimming around with the other fish. I was slightly concerned over the Giant as I've read that they can be more aggressive than their smaller counterpart. Mind you, I've also read that they are dopier! ? I've not seen any signs of aggression from/toward either of the new girls :good: :D

Keeping with the Dr Who companions theme here are:

WOW!!! Stunning I wish I had a giant female I didn't know about them. In the 5th pic is that a giant next to a normal size one? the one where they have simmilar colouring?

Thanks Marie :D Yes, that's a normal size betta female behind Sara  I've got two small girls, several that are still growing and then the others are all rather large! I had no idea what to expect with a giant,- but she is much bigger than my other fish. You can see from the photo of her with the molly!

Roxy still has a couple of Giant females for sale on ebay :good:

Beautiful ladies..I love all of them. Are they together and peaceful in a Sorority Tank?

Yes, they are in a sorority tank and all my betta girlies seem to get along really well. I've not had one single nipped fin yet,- but I keep a very close eye on them all and do twice daily head counts as I know that I must never get complacent! I have a male betta living in with them too. I know most people will say that that's a real no, no,- but I was told by someone on another site that you can keep both sexes together happily providing they have enough space. Mine have 260 litres. My boy is very laid back and swims/eats/sleeps happily in amongst all the girls.

They are both Stunning Nicki, can't wait to set my Sorority up so i can get a giant or 2 :good:

Thanks Siobhan :D They have settled in so well and have both been swimming around happily today. Sara comes straight over to the front of the tank when she sees me. I think she associates me with blood worm already!

Hello katarina :shifty:

They lovely nicki :)

That photo is especially for you Vicki! :D I just wish I could have got the matching PK male  Roxy had two white males and their respective matching females. By the time I'd decided to give in to my urges Katarina was the only one left. I think it must have been fate! :D
