My New Female

Hi folks, well I went to get another female today since I have one male swordtail and 1 female and I came across this girl. She is a lyretail swordtail. She looked white in the tank but since being home she's changed to very pale yellow/grey hard to describe but I like her, such a different colour to the orange swordtails they usually have and to find another lyretail is rare too.

Thankyou I had to have her lol. As soon as I put her in the male swordtail had ditched the other lyretail female I have and is stuck to the new ones side! Charming! lol.
Nah I don't mind at all because the funny thing is-I used to say that too. I wasn't into platies at all, thought they were quite plain always liked guppies for that fanciness and stunning colours but sacrificed the hardiness as they kept dying. I am hoping was maybe due to my tank not being cycled at the time as I knew nothing about it but now that it's all fine I am hoping I can maybe get one again in the future.
I love my platies now I only have 2 left, the red/white male and a yellow tuxedo hi fin who is so enormous due to her greed! The 2 silver females died after having babies but the one fry I have is now a month old he us turning yellow but he has the same dark mark on the head his mother had it's so cute!

Nope don't have any platys just some corys and rasbora but my new betta arrives on Friday! yay!
