My New Ellioti

Well, made the trip yesterday finally, went to pick up one of Littlemonkeys Ellioti that wasn't fitting in with her others. He's soon took over the tank, very much the boss, but then again most of the other things that he is in with are smaller than him so i guess it's only normal. lol.

Managed to get a couple of pictures of him, he still hasn't settled in properly yet and i'm hoping he colours up as much as what he was in his previous home.

Sorry to get back you so late. I think that's a smile on his face. Just to let you know Gourami's and Kribs have already sussed mummy means feed time. The rocks are all in position. One set have made a nice cave in the 4ft. Really was nice meeting you all. Look forward to more swaps in the future. You will let Asher know how the eliotti fry are doing as he is interested. Asher? I have found another ellioti, went to pick it up last night. I was hoping it was a female but I don't think it is as 2 spot is chasing it from one side of the tank to the other. I had to remove him last night as he was being mean. Put him back in this morning and he seems slightly better. My Honduras red points have laid a cluster of eggs so if they hatch and survive being in the cichlid community tank then you would be welcome to some.

Oh my god, he is a randy little so and so or just showing his (I'm king of the tank) thing. It may have been better to wait untill the fry you have had matured and you can select a female. My Mr (Albert) I've killed my wife has dug a huge pit, and the rest of the fry in with him. He still hasnt touched them, and they are growing like mad.

Yeah I know, lol. I hope it's a female but not holding out much hope. The person I got it from had a cracking pair he was flogging. The male was huuuuge! Did the other person come for some fry?

Oh right. Well I can definitely vouch for the fry, they're top notch! Shame Albert killed Victoria though. But on the upside, at least he is looking after them.
